Surrounded by his family, Angelo passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on the morning of Tuesday, April 18th, 2023. Beloved husband of 64 years to Giuseppina (nee Agro), and loving father to Greg, Clara (Carmelo), and Sam. Cherished and loved Nonno to Sam (Julia), Angelo (Carina), Marco, Sandra (Peter), Adriano (Nicole) and great grandson Leo.
He is predeceased by his parents Gregorio and Calogera Bartolotta, and in-laws Salvatore and Giuseppina Agro.
He joins his siblings Salvatore (Giuseppina), Maria (Antonio) Guastella, Calogero (Rosa), Salvatrica (Alfonso) Puzzo, Carmelo(Rosa), Giuseppe (Antonietta), and Luigi (Angela) in heaven. Cherished brother-in-law to the late Calogera and Salvatore Mattina; Salvatore and Annunziata Agro; Vincenza and Calogera Tirone; and Michele and Francesca Agro.
Uncle Angelo (Zi Gino to the Agro family) will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as their extended families and friends.
Angelo was a well-respected man and was loved by everyone he met. He will forever be remembered for his infectious smile, his energy that lit up the room and his ability to keep the peace. He had a passion for wine making and gardening, and loved to share stories of his life experiences.
We find comfort in believing that Angelo is in the arms of his family and friends resting in heaven.
Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Thursday April 20, 2023, from 5pm – 9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of All Souls Catholic Church, 21 Barton Street West, Hamilton on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10:00 am. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington.
