Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the family of Andrea Dawn Arletta Oliver wish to announce her passing which occurred on August 26, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with her family by her side. Born in Blacks Harbour, September 6, 1961, she was the daughter of Irene (Thompson) Wright and the late Phillip Wright.
Andrea graduated as an LPN from NBCC in 1984. She enjoyed her career as a nurse in the Hemodialysis department at the SJRH, from which she officially retired in 2022.
She was always on the go and enjoyed nature and the outdoors and especially loved to travel. She was passionate about sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She maintained a very positive attitude during her 10-year cancer journey.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her children; Phillip Oliver, Cara Doyle (Tim), Arletta Savoy (Jon), her partner Mike Allen, Brothers; David Wright (Joy) and Dwayne Wright, Grandchildren; Natisha, Derrek, Gracelyn, Zayla, her aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Eastern Charlotte Extra Mural Team and the Palliative Care Nurses at the SJRH.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506) 646-2424. To honor Andrea’s wishes, following cremation there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family will hold a celebration of life on Thursday Aug 31 from 4pm to 8pm at the Musquash Fire Hall, 35 Malcolm Meehan Rd, Musquash, NB. Remembrances made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
