Obituary For Andrea Darlene Osmond
September 3, 1960 – December 28, 2022
With great sadness, we, the family of Andrea Osmond, regret to announce her peaceful passing at home on December 28th, 2022.
Andrea was born in Ontario, on September 3, 1960, to parents Marilyn and Andrew Gardiner. Before long, Andrea and her family moved locations to start a new adventure. Andrea grew up in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia.
Before moving to Calgary, Andrea met her soon-to-be husband, Carl Osmond in Nova Scotia. They moved to Calgary together and were married in 1983 and had 2 children- Christopher and Carlie. As Andrea’s children grew, their family grew as Andrea was blessed with 8 grandchildren.
Andrea enjoyed her summers at the lake camping & boating, and tending to her flower garden at home, but the most important thing to her was her family. She lived for her grandkids.
Andrea will be remembered by the love of her life, her husband of 39 years Carl Osmond, her son Christopher (Kimberly) Osmond and their children Kianna, Hayley, Ashton, Aria, her daughter Carlie (Jarred) Nemez and their children Jarrah, Allias, Asher, Rowan, as well as her siblings Lisa (Bruce) Briers, Rhonda Gardiner, and Scott Gardiner. Additionally, she be forever missed by her Fur-Baby.
Andrea was pre-deceased by her parents Andrew and Marilyn Gardiner, and her mother and father-in-law Alice and Ludwig Osmond.
A service and viewing will be held on January 9, 2023 at 10 am at Bear Creek Funeral Home for those wishing to pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada in Andrea’s name.
