Alvin Woolner in his 94th year passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Senior’s Complex in Alliston. Beloved husband of the late Goldie (2007). Dear son of the late Ephriam and Edna Woolner. Dear brother of Margaret Holland (the late Clifford 2021). Survived by his sister’s in-law Marjorie Woolner and Thelma Jefferson. Predeceased by his sister Doris and brother’s Ivan, John, and Donald. Alvin will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the CHATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood, on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 1pm for a Funeral Service at 2pm. Interment Thornbury Clarksburg Union Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Matthews House Hospice in Alliston would be appreciated.
