The death occurred at Western Hospital, Alberton on Monday,
May 15, 2023, with family by his side, of Alton William Silliker of
Milburn aged 89. Alton was born in Milburn on March 8, 1934, son of
the late Wilfred & Margaret (Buchanan)
Silliker.
Loving father to Craig (Neusiane), Milburn; Colleen (Allan)
Parker, Mill River and Brenda Lee (Blair) Perry, Howlan; step father
to Lonnie (Donna) MacIsaac, O’Leary; Gaylene (Mike) Gallant,
Kelvin Grove and Elizabeth (Reggie) McInnis, Unionvale.
Special Grampie to Bradley (Mandy) Silliker, Charlee Acorn,
Maggie-Jane (James) Spray, Joshua (Miranda) Perry, Janelle (Lucas)
Reimer, step grandfather to Tanya (Gerry) Vanderkaay, Ryan (Meredith)
MacIsaac, Sydney MacIsaac (Brandon Jardine), Tyler (Raeanne) Gallant,
Travis (Katie) Gallant, Jackie (Chris) Broome, Alex (Robyn) McInnis,

Charlottetown; Joan Mugridge, Alberton and Julia MacAusland, Moncton,
NB.
Alton was predeceased by his parents, 1st wife Irma
(MacWilliams) (October 22, 1992), 2nd wife Eloise (MacAusland
MacIsaac) (Feb 27, 2022) brothers Bobby and Lester and sister Florence
Young.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
Funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00am in the Chapel. Interment in
Mount Royal People’s Cemetery.
