Obituary
Allen Kenneth Sluzalo, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on March 5, 2023 at the age of 80 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Sarah Sluzalo; his brothers, Blaine Sluzalo and Gary Sluzalo.
Allen is survived by his partner Beulah Bailey: his children: Sandra Veer (James Dionne), Kenneth Sluzalo (Darolyn Elliott) and Jessie Sluzalo; grandchildren: Jaret (Ana) Veer, Megan Newton (Tanner Case) and their daughter Gemma, Amanda Lee Cooper; brothers Connie and Eddie; sisters Jeanette and Carol; along with his nephews, nieces and friends.
Allen enjoyed many years of playing music around southern Saskatchewan. Over the years he played for many dances and worked with numerous musicians. He was a handy man of building and ran a business fixing shoes etc. He worked as a mail carrier and retired from 30 years at Canada Post. Allen had a great sense of humor and loved to tell a joke. He loved his family dearly and will be missed for his kind heart and dedication to his family.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with Sharon Elliott officiating. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK. Funeral luncheon will be held after the interment at Knox Fellowship Hall, 136 ~ 2nd Street, Weyburn, SK.
A Private Family Visitation will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.
For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Allen may be made to the Diabetes Foundation of Saskatchewan, 919 B. Albert Street, Regina, SK, S4R 2P6.
