Obituary
Allan Morgan (January 29, 1944 – March 10, 2023)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Allan who died in his home surrounded by family at his side. He will be greatly missed by his wife Marvyn, Daughter Lael (Rusty, Bailey), Son Osian (Grace), Granddaughter Anouk, Niece Suzy and Cousin Yvonne.
Allan and Marvyn sailed to Canada in 1970. Allan was a professional engineer having graduated from the University of Wales and was employed by Ontario Hydro for the majority of his professional life.
Allan will be remembered for his passion for his family, coaching youth soccer, playing badminton, travelling and his huge love for sailing on his boat eXoteric.
He was a gentle caring man who was a double lung transplant recipient and resiliently fought all medical adversities that followed later in life.
The family is grateful for the support of so many wonderful friends and caregivers who have provided much help and comfort along the way. We would like to especially thank Pat and Joe.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown on Thursday, March 16th, 2023 at 2pm for family and friends. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery and a reception to follow at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, you may wish to make a donation in memory of Allan. Please consider the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and/or the Brian Injury Association of Peel and Halton.
Allan will be sadly missed and never forgotten.
