Allan’s Obituary
Passed away suddenly, from a heart attack, on Sunday June 4, 2023 at the Woodstock Hospital. He was 83 years of age. Beloved husband of Beverley Massey. Loving father of Jason (Ann Marie) and Derek. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Sarah, Bella and Rachel. Forever loved brother of Judi Zilio (the late Lino), Marjorie Lalonde (Raymond) and Cheryl Hodgson (Doug) and brother-in-law of Orville Kranz (Margaret) and Wayne Kranz (Pat). Predeceased by brothers-in-law Frank Stavenow, Lawrence Kranz and sister-in-law Genetta Voegtle. He will be dearly missed by his extended family and many dear friends. After an early retirement from INCO Ltd in Sudbury, he enjoyed an active lifestyle spending time with family, volunteering and playing lots of golf. He enjoyed his last round of golf on Friday two days before his unexpected death.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, Ontario. The date and time of the service, once confirmed will be uploaded. A Private Family Interment of the cremated remains will follow the service.
