Obituary
Allan valiantly fought a good fight but succumbed on Tuesday August 1st, 2023 at the Juravinski Hospital.
Leaving behind his beloved wife Peggy, of 44 years. Children Billy and Jacqueline, Kristen and Jacob, Sylvia and Jonathan. Grandchildren who each had a special name for him: Grumpa to Malachi and Ruth Price, Bumpet to Sophia and Bradley Paterson, and Grandpa to Lorelei Eaton.
He was a dear brother to Sue and Graham Miller and Judi and Rob Bastedo. Son in law to Audrey Townsend. Brother in law to George, Rosemary, Bill and Margaret. Uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces, and nephews. And his life long friend Randy.
Predeceased by his parents Donald and Georgean Eaton, and sister Anne Eaton.
He was a hard working, honest mechanic for many years. In his free time he enjoyed cars, music, participating in the church variety fundraiser, and enjoying his treasures – the grandkids.
Family time was important to Allan. You would often find him in a rink, gym, or sports field volunteering and cheering on his kids.
Allan and Peggy would often be found on their porch playing cards and watching the world go by. When they weren’t home you could find them on the road heading to see their kids or finding the best cucumbers and dill for pickles.
Heartfelt thanks to all those who called, wrote and checked in on Allan through his journey.

The oncology nurses of 3 & 4 C at the Juravinski Hospital. And Nurse Mui at Bayshore. Your patience and compassion was appreciated by Allan and his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 5th, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Mountsberg Baptist Church (241 Campbellville Rd., Campbellville, ON L0P 1B0).
