Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday July 17, 2023. Alf Bonham, of Oakland, in his 84th year. Beloved Husband of Donna Ruth (nee Smith) for 60 years. Loving Father of Cathy (Bill) Lowe and Richard (Tara) Bonham. Cherished Grandpa of Stephanie (Jared) Bender, Alex (Jordyn) Lowe, Joshua and Sophie Bonham. Great-grandpa of Penelope Jane Bender. Also survived by his sister Ruth (the late Keith) Latty. Alf will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.
Alf was a dairy and cash crop farmer on the family farm in Oakland while also owning and operating Alf Bonham Heating & Airconditioning for many years. He was a longtime member of the Scotland Masonic Lodge No. 193.
Family & friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. and Monday July 24, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service to be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery. A Masonic Service under the auspices of Scotland Masonic Lodge No. 193 will be held at a later date.
