After a courageous battle with alzheimers and cancer at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, May 26, 2023. Alex Thibeau, of Brantford, in his 90th year. Dear husband of Carol Ann (nee Palmer). Cherished father of the late Holly Ann (2020). Brother of John (Nicole) Thibeau. Also survived by brothers-in-law Wayne (Irene) Palmer and Jim (the late Cathy Pedley). Cherished uncle of Melissa Pedley. Alex will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, family & friends.
Alex worked at Lockwood Manufacturing for over 30 years and had a love for country music playing guitar in several bands. He could be found at Tim Hortons with his coffee group and sadly missed his dog Kasey.
Family and friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Friday June 2, 2023 from 11-1 followed by a Celebration of Life in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Alex’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
