Alex immigrated to Canada in 1964. He graduated from Kings College Durham University with an Hon. BSC. Married and dedicated to his wife Elaine for 67 years. Father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Dad’s humour and kindness will be dearly missed by his children, Janet, Eric (Victoria) and Neil (Jacqui).
And his grandchildren whom he adored, Thomas, Jessica, Sarah, Alexander William, Colin and Cassandra.
Dad also had the opportunity to meet and touch the lives of his great grandchildren Alexa, Mila, Sienna, Addison, Noble, Colton, and Charlotte.
Dad enjoyed the outdoors, boating, and was a skilled chess player. He will be remembered for his kindness, encouraging nature, his sense of humour, and quick wit.
