It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Albert Snook of Fortune announces his passing at the his home in Fortune on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023, at the age of 77.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, June of 57 years; son, Todd Snook (Heather) of Hammonds Plains, NS; daughter, Erica Maynard (Gerry) of South Farmington, NS; sisters, Charlotte Hollett (Ed), Phoebe Brockerville, Meta Bungay; brothers, Harold John Snook (Lucy), Morgan Snook; sisters in-law, Alice Snook, Mervie Snook, Major Carrie Brinson, Charlotte Piercey, Daisy Spencer (Roland), Janet Buckle, Grace Thornhill (Lloyd); grandson, Chase Snook; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Albert was predeceased by parents, Albert & Emily Snook; brothers, William Snook, Rev. Benjamin Snook; brothers in-law, Howard Brockerville, Rex Bungay, Cecil Thornhill; sister in-law, Ruby Hicks; nephews, Nelson Snook, Justin Bungay.
In keeping with Albert’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
The Snook Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Fortune on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service will take place at Fortune United Church on Sunday, February 26th, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
In Albert’s memory donations may be made to United Church Memorial Fund, or flowers gratefully accepted..
