It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Albert L. Burke of Marystown announces his passing. Albert passed away at the BPHCC in Burin on Monday, January 2nd, 2023, at the age of 70.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, Eileen of 49 years; sons, Albert (Sara) and Jeffrey; grandchildren, Kerry and Leah; sister, Linda Steele (Scott) of Ontario; brother, Les Burke of Ontario; brothers-in-law, John Gover (Phoebe), Harold Gover (Mary), Ray Gover (Bertha), Clayton Gover (Linda) and Cavin Gover (Mary); sisters-in-law, Burdetta Gover (Stan), Anne Mayo (Harman), Rose Cheeseman (Pat) of Ontario, Rebecca Dober (Phonse) and Isabella Hennebury (Dean); brother-in-law, Paul Power (Alice); plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Albert was predeceased by his mother, Lillian Burke; step-father, Pat Dunphy; parents-in-law, Archibald & Leah Gover; brothers, Lenny Burke and Terry Burke; sister, Wilma Backle (Rob); brother-in-law, Jim Gover and sister-in-law, Lillian Power.
The Burke Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on

2pm – 4pm
7pm – 9pm
Monday, January 9th
10am – 12noon
Funeral Service will take place at Calvary United Church, Creston South on Monday, January 9th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Inurnment to follow at Calvary United Church Cemetery, Creston South.
In Albert’s memory, in-lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Burke Family.
