OLIPHANT, Albert
Peacefully, on August 14th 2023 Albert passed away in his 70th year. Loving husband of 44 years to Rebecca. Cherished father of Matthew and Aaron. He will be missed by his grandsons Keegan, Kolby and their mother Hollie. Albert is survived by his brother Keith, his wife Heather and their children Spencer and Curtis, mother-in-law Vivian Truesdale, sister-in-law Kathy Santarelli and her children Gregory and David, brother-in-law Marc Truesdale, his wife Sheila and their children Jessica and Sarah. Predeceased by his mother Lorraine and father Albert. Albert never went anywhere that he didn’t run into someone he knew. He will be remembered and missed by many. Albert was a longtime coach of Scott Park Hockey and Mahoney Baseball. He was retired from Jervis B Webb of Canada after nearly 40 years of service. Special thanks for all their care and compassion over many years to Dr. Christian Rabbat and his team, 7th floor Nephrology, St. Joseph’s Hospital, the Dialysis Centre at St. Joseph’s – King Street Campus, Shel and her staff at 646 Main Street Pharmacy, Dr. Zaid Al-Rubaiee and his staff. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Thursday August 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday August 18th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Tapleytown Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Hamilton Food Share Program.
