Obituary of Alanna Lee Marie Stevenson
STEVENSON (Smith), Alanna Lee Marie-Age 65 of Halifax It’s with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our love, mother and friend. Alanna Lee Marie Stevenson passed away peacefully at the QEII January 7th, 2023 with family by her side. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Tessie Smith.
Alanna could always be found looking forward to her summers spent in Hubbards which was her favourite place to be. Late nights by the camp fire, but most of all, loving her time spent with her most precious gifts, her 6 beautiful grandchildren.
Alanna survived by her loving spouse Brian; children, Sean (step son), Atlantis, Talia, and Taletha (Logan). Her brother Hal Smith (Kathy), and grandchildren. Alanna was predeceased by her sister Trudy Smith.
Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In keeping with Alanna’s wishes there will be no visitation. A service to be held at a later date, when we can all be together, in beautiful Hubbards. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Canadian cancer society in her memory.
