Nancy lived a full and varied life. From humble roots in Kent, England to honeymooning in the Swiss Alps, to immigrating to Canada with Husband John in 1964.
Nancy worked for two local newspapers in Kent when she first met John. Nancy’s love of books and reading was well suited to her later in her career working in the public library while John worked as an Editor at the Times Colonist newspaper. John passed away in 2009. For the last four and a half years of her life, Nancy lived at Royal Oak Berwick, thoroughly enjoying the varied activities provided.
Nancy was predeceased by her brother Gavin and brother Andrew and half sister Margaret and half brother Wilfred. Nancy is greatly missed by her brother James and other family members in England along with the friends she made and cherished in Victoria.
