Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at home, at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Mervin G. Martin. Mother of Osiah and Barbara Martin of RR 3, Lucknow, Isaac and (Martha 2023) of RR 1, West Montrose, Melinda and Edward Martin of RR 3, Holyrood, Esther and John Martin of RR 1, Holyrood, (Aaron 2021) and Mary Martin of RR 3, Holyrood, Lydia and Enos Martin of RR 1, Holyrood, Maryann and Amsey Weber of RR 4, Listowel, Nancy and Susannah Martin both at home. Also survived by 44 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Martin and sister-in-law MaryAnn (Orvie 2023) Martin.
Predeceased by her parents Ceranus and Malinda Martin, sister Susannah and Elo Martin, brother Orvie Martin, brother Daniel and Lydia and second wife Esther, daughter-in-law Martha (Mrs. Isaac Martin), son Aaron, one grandson and one great-grandson.
Visitation will take place at the home of Nancy and Susannah Martin, 52 Hill St., West Montrose, on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Friday, September 1, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. Family service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 9 a.m. at the home then to Winterbourne Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
