Robert Steeves
1941-2023
Bob Steeves of Hillsborough passed away peacefully on Monday,
April 10, 2023 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Osborne Corner, he was
the son of the late Kenneth and Lillian (Tripp) Steeves. Robert was a
self-employed electrician but had been formerly employed with Eatons,
Star Electric and CNR. He will forever be remembered for his
clever wit and humour.
He will be dearly missed by his son, Jamie Steeves;
grandchildren, Alisha and Evan Steeves; sisters, Sylvia, Betty,
Marilyn and Sandra, all of Riverview; brothers, Maurice (Jeannie) and
Keith (Susan) all of Osborne Corner; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Gail
Steeves (Scott) and an infant son, Kevin.
A service celebrating his life will take place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 14,
2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. The
interment will take place at Grey’s Island at a later date
Donations made to the Cancer Society or a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
