Obituary of Kenneth Ross Gordon
Kenneth Ross Gordon, 91, of New Maryland, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
Kenneth was born on September 14th, 1931, to Harold Gordon and Dorothy (Ross) Gordon in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Kenneth obtained an Engineering Certificate from Queen’s University in 1955 and a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Francis Xavier University in 1957. This was followed by post-graduate studies at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB. Kenneth was employed as a Senior Railway Investigator (Railway/Commodity Pipeline Investigations Branch) with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
He enjoyed activities such as cooking, gardening, and being outdoors. His love, kindness and generosity will be greatly missed.
Kenneth will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Nicole Gordon and their beloved dog, Indie; daughter, Jennifer Ponce (Fernando); son, Richard Gordon; granddaughter, Heather Mayhew and his two great grandchildren, Audrianna and Grace. He was predeceased by his brother, John (2021); sister, Meg (2013); wife, Dolores (1996); daughter, Kathleen (1989), and his parents, Dorothy (1990) and Harold (1986).
Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Oromocto Public Hospital and Hospice Fredericton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam’s Funeral Home. In keeping with Kenneth’s wishes, no service or visitation will be held.
