BRANNEN, Richard Bennett “Dick” – On Tuesday April, 4, 2023 the angels came and carried our Dad, Richard Bennett Brannen “Dick” to his heavenly home to be with our Mom, Marg (Foster). Dad is survived by his children, Colleen, Richard (Leanne), Freddie (Colleen), Calvin (Crystal), Elizabeth (Norman); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; also survived by sisters, Brenda (Steve), Ivy; brothers, Ronald, Wayne, Kenneth, Lynn, Allan; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by son-in-law, Austin; sisters, Sheila, Adeline, Pauline; and brother, Allister. He loved being a fisherman, being on the water was his passion. Dad was known and loved by many. He was a very kind and generous man; he always had a kind word to say and a smile that warmed the heart. His motto was “Live life to the fullest”. Dad was a man of great faith. He loved his family beyond measure and they always came first. In his younger years he loved to play sports, hockey, curling, and baseball, and in his later years he loved to watch them on TV. Born and raised in Baccaro, Dad lived a happy and humble life. For the past nine years he lived at Roseway Manor where he enjoyed a full and active life. The family would like to give a special ‘Thank you’ to the amazing, loving, and caring staff at the Manor for all you do. You made it possible for Dad to enjoy his final years.
