The family announces with sorrow her passing at the Golden Manor on Saturday April 1st, 2023 at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of the late Jim “James” Imhoff. Dear mother of Denis Marcoux, Lise Bouvier (Dan) and Linda Desjardins (Richard Champagne); proud grandmother of Emilie Bouvier, Stéphanie Bouvier (Kevin Mitchell), Riley Bouvier, Patrick Desjardins (Mable St. Louis), and Julie Desjardins (John Rheaume); loving great-grandmother of Hunter. She was predeceased by her parents Victor and Virginie (nee Schryer) Ouellette; her brother Réo Ouellette and her children Michel Marcoux and Suzanne Imhoff.
Muriel was a very kind person who loved to laugh and have fun. She enjoyed life to the fullest. For years, she and her spouse volunteered for Meals on Wheels, which gave them great pleasure.
The family wishes to thank all of the staff at the Golden Manor for their exceptional care, compassion and the love that Muriel received. We would like to thank all of her “caregiver angels” on East 1, particularly those who loved and cared for her in the last few weeks of her life. Just know that she “loved you back”.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2023 in the LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations made to the Golden Manor would be greatly appreciated.
