Bunkiewicz, Edmund “Ed” and affectionately known as “Edzio” (Ed worked for Chrysler Canada for 20 years and retired as a production supervisor). Passed on Monday March 27, 2023 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Ed, 71 years of age, of Omemee, formerly of Brampton, beloved husband of Betty for 41 years. Loving father of Jonathan (Andrea), Christina and Stephanie. Loved “Dzaidek” of Ethan and Micayla. Loving son of Muriel and the late Janek. Dear brother of Halina, Dana, Sue and Michelle (Bill). Ed was predeceased by his sister Yvonne. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ed enjoyed fishing, boating, cooking and his memories of his high school days playing competitive football and hockey.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Cross Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Friday March 31, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown.
