Clarence Sydney Rylett, “Clar,” of Chatham passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, at the age of 62. Son of the late Sydney and Pearl Rylett. Husband of Trudy Raes. Father of Colin Rylett, Ryan Raes (Shannon), Rena Raes and Vanessa Raes. Grandfather of Briana, C.J., Emmy-Rae, Keegan, Abby, Preston, Chasitie, and Triston. Great grandfather of Deejay. Brother of Tim Rylett (Betty), the late Wayne Rylett (the late Barb), Mary Van Horne (Mike), John Owen (Tammy), Susan Rylett, and Charlie Rylett (Linda). Brother-in-law of Len Hazenberg (Sylvia). Clar will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Clar enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and sports car, and he loved his trucks.
Thank you to Dr. Mehta, Dr. Malus, and the ICU nurses Rita, Karla and Sara for the wonderful care of Clar during his hospital stay.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 2:00pm with a funeral to follow at 4:00pm at the KBD Club, 34 Byng Ave., Chatham, Ontario.
Those wishing to donate in memory of Clar are asked to please consider the MS Society of Canada.
