With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lee-Ann Braithwaite (Walsh) on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born in Toronto 55 years ago. Daughter of Dorothy Dray-Mitchell and the late Thomas Walsh. Beloved wife of Christopher Braithwaite. Loving mother of Hannah Barrick (Jack Tomen) of Windsor, Brady Barrick of Hamilton and Eric Walsh of Wellington. Sister of Kathy (Jamie) Mitchell-Stares, Jackie (Brandi) Scales, Linda Simpson and Sheila Williams-Mossman. Sister-in-law of TJ Braithwaite (Courtney Martin) and Kim Glossop (Paul), dear aunty Lee-Ann to Clayton & Finley Glossop. Also survived by mother-in-law Agathe Braithwaite. Predeceased by father-in-law Terry Braithwaite. Reunited with her grandparents Philip Brady & Dorothy Carol Ann Dray. Dear granddaughter-in-law of Alice Braithwaite. Fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. Lee-Ann enjoyed scrapbooking and using her inventive and artistic gifts in card making. She worked for many years as a bank manager for CIBC. Lee-Ann was kind, quick-witted, savvy, open-minded and twice the fun. She always thought of others before herself. Lee-Ann will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A private celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
