The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community
Hospital, O’Leary on Friday March 17, 2023 of Margaret Violet Darrach
of O’Leary aged 58, beloved wife of Spencer Smith. Margaret was born
in O’Leary on December 8, 1964, loving daughter of Laura (MacPhee)
Darrach and the late John Darrach.
Cherished mom to Marcia (Ryan Rout Gallant), dear sister to
Edsel and Joanne (Wade) Shaw and aunt to Jason (Judy) Shaw, Chris
(Ashley) Shaw and Nick Smith.
Margaret is also survived by her mother in law, Sharon Smith,
brothers and sisters in law, Rodney (Colleen) Smith, Todd (Tracey)
Smith, Jennifer (Allen) DesRoches, Tyler Smith, uncle Heber (Rosalee)
MacPhee, aunts Jean MacPhee, Jennie MacPhee, Glenn MacPhee and by
special friends Cassie and Barry Doucette.
Predeceased by her dad John Darrach and father in law Walter
Smith.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with
visiting hours Wednesday 12pm – 1:45pm followed by her funeral in the
Chapel at 2pm.
