It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Judith (Judy) Diane Mulgrove on December 31, 2022 at the age of 71 years at the Points West Supported Living Centre in Stettler, Alberta.
Judy was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Mary Smith and by her chocolate lab, Cassandra (KC) whom she loved dearly. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Larry Mulgrove; sons Cory (Ada), Ryan (Michelle); grandchildren Tye (Jessica), Brooke and Alyssa; siblings Jane (Gerry), Greg (Jane), Karen (Brian) and their respective families.
Judy was born in Hanna where she met her sweetheart Larry in high school. They were soon married and started their lives together in Stettler where they raised their boys and embraced the community. Judy enjoyed swimming, a good book, camping, riding her bike, curling, and being the #1 sports fan while supporting her family at the ball diamond, hockey and curling rink. Judy became an Optician and spent 30 years in the eye glass industry with Hauck’s Vision and Hearing center in Stettler, where she enjoyed servicing her customers and meeting their eye care needs.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stettler Funeral Home & Crematorium, 4707-70th Street Stettler, AB.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff of Points West for their care during her stay.
