Obituary of Bruce D. Burgess
Burgess: Bruce D. –
A resident of Chatham, Bruce Burgess passed away at his home after a lengthy illness on Monday, March 13, 2023 at the age of 65.
Born in Chatham, Bruce Burgess was the son of the late Charles and Patricia (Armstrong) Burgess.
Bruce will be missed by the mother of his children, Barbara Burgess (nee Kalp).
Father to Charlie Burgess and Stu Burgess.
Brother to the late Bill Burgess (Gail), Murray Burgess (Helen) and the late Janet Richards (Phil).
Also missed by friends and extended family.
Bruce had career working with windows and doors which he retired from after over 30 years of service.
Bruce enjoyed restoring old radio transmitters and operating the HAM radio.
Bruce played drums for the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 28 Pipe band and loved playing the guitar.
As per Bruce’s wishes, he will be remembered privately by his family.
Donations made in memory of Bruce to London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Care would be appreciated.
