It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Glegg on March 9, 2023 at the age of 91. George passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Agnes and family members by his side. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Agnes, sons James (Debbie) and Lindsay (Susan). George will be dearly missed by his five grandchildren, Lauren, Sarah, Jessica, Tyler, Daniel and six great-grand-children. He is predeceased by his much – loved parents, James and Helen, sisters Betty and Mary. George was born in Falkirk, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1955. A retired police officer, a skilled joiner, a grand story-teller and a wonderful singer. His smile and laughter will be sadly missed by all who knew him. As per George’s wishes, there will be a cremation without a service. Memorial donations may be made in George’s name to Bob Kemp Hospice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
