Obituary of Nita Fern Cullen
CULLEN, Nita Fern – Age 62, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., died suddenly on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, in Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Charles Owen and Alice Fern (Joudrey) Durling, formerly of Barss Corner.
Nita loved her flower gardens and watching her flowers bloom and flourish. She also loved her cats, Tazzy and Pepe.
Surviving is her husband, B. Robert Cullen, Bridgewater; sisters, Tina Durling, Barss Corner; Lois Deal, West Dalhousie; nephew, Lance Wheeler, Barss Corner.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her father and mother in-law, Benjamin and Nancy Cullen, formerly of Antigonish; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
By personal request, there will be no visitation or service held at this time. No flowers please, donations may be made to SHAID Animal Shelter or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
