In Loving Memory of Donna Doris Puschel (nee Carmont)
March 23, 1941 – December 17, 2024
It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Puschel on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024.
Predeceased by her loving husband Stig Puschel, who she missed every day since his passing in 2018. Also predeceased by her parents Robert and Margaret Carmont (nee Eagles), brother Robert and sister Evelyn. She is deeply missed by sisters Gloria and Carolyn, brothers Hal (Sonnia) and John (Paula). She will also be deeply missed by her nephews, Paul (Annette) Gomirato, Greg (Lisa) Gomirato, and great nieces and nephews, Adele, Aaron, Bradley and Erica, as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews in southern Ontario and British Columbia. She will also be missed by many special friends far and wide.
Donna was an amazing gourmet chef who took great pride in preparing unforgettable evenings of great food complemented with fine wine and laughs over the years. She had a great sense of humour and was a gracious host who loved spending time with friends and family. She also enjoyed spending time gardening.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mirka, HSN and the caregivers at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre whose compassion during her final hours was greatly appreciated.
We know she is now smiling as she reunites with her “Stigims” and special feline son, Mr. Magoo.
Cremation services provided by Lougheed’s Funeral Home with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
