It is with great sorrow that the family of Harry Landiak wishes to announce his passing on
March 08, 2023 at the age of 89 years.
Harry enjoyed living and working on the farm. Even as he got older, he remained active with the garden, helping with the gates while moving cows, and running to get fencing staples, wire or baler twine as required.
With a bright twinkle in his eye and wide smile on his face, Harry appreciated and found joy in both the big and little things in life – family, the farm, good friends. Honest and practical, he believed in getting to the point, being realistic, and looking forward with optimism and strength. Harry often didn’t use words to express his love, but his care and affection toward those around him was apparent through his kind and giving nature.
Harry is survived by his daughter, Susan (Ross), his grandchildren, Danika and Nikolas, and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann and son, Jim.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Sereda, and the nurses and health care professionals at the St. Therese and Royal Alex hospitals, the paramedics and EMTs and the many health care workers that cared for and helped Harry as he neared the end.
In keeping with Harry’s wishes, a private celebration of life memorial will take place in the coming months where family, friends and neighbours may share their stories and memories of Harry. To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.
