It is with heavy hearts that the family of Laura Jean Campbell of
Plaster Rock, NB, announce her sudden passing at her home on December
2, 2024.
Laura was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on November 20, 1954. She was the
daughter of the late Herman and Hazel Wright. Laura leaves behind her
daughters, Jennifer Burgoyne (Jim Cyr) of North View, NB, Eliza
Campbell of Plaster Rock, NB; her grandchildren, Jessica, Bruce, and
Cy; her sisters, Eleanor O’Neil of Connecticut and Patricia Smith of
Perth-Andover, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.
Laura was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Marshall Campbell;
her brother, Clifford Wright; and a baby sister.
Resting at the Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock, NB, with visitation on
Saturday from 1-3 pm. A graveside service for the immediate family
will be held at the Arthurette United Baptist Cemetery following
visitation. Rev. Dwayne Broad officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Mama Bear Cancer
Assistance Fund would be appreciated by the family.
