Sharon Ann Spychi (Totten)

Sharon Spychi of Prescott, passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Brockville General Hospital, with her loving family by her side.
Sharon was born in Holtyre, Ontario and was the beloved wife of Eugene John Spychi and married since May 20, 1967. She is survived by her sisters Marilyn Totten & Candy Peters (Tom), sister-in-laws Patricia Arcand (Irvin) & Beverly Spychi, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Carl & Marcelle Totten; by her brother Wayne Totten & sister-in-law Patricia Totten; and by her brothers-in-law Alvin Spychi & Terry Spychi.
Sharon was a true supporter of the Terry Fox Run since the 1st one held in Prescott right up to 2024 and would even visit events while out of town visiting family or spending time at the cottage. She was also an avid & passionate reader and big fan of the Prescott Public Library. Sharon invested a lot into her community with her involvement in many groups, organizations & charities, and she especially enjoyed her time off and summers at the cottage near Westport, Ontario.
A celebration of life will be held sometime in 2025. Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Sharon Spychi’s memory to The Terry Fox Foundation, the Prescott Public Library or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
