It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the unexpected passing of Deborah Farquhar Hunt on November 16th, 2024 at the age of 54. Cherished wife to Norm and beloved mother to Cooper and Paige (Mix). Deb also leaves behind her father Fraser and dear brother JD, aunts, uncles and cousins within the Farquhar family. Along with Alice, Elmer and extended family. Not forgetting Deb’s large family of pets. Deb now joins her dear pre-deceased mother Virginia and adored Grandmother Mildred.
Having blessed so many with special friendships, Deb will also be missed immensely by treasured friends of many years Kristi (Bun) and family, Vivian her “Angel Mom” and Julie and the Doyle Family.
Always wanting to make a difference in the lives of others, Deb attended York University and Humber College finally becoming a Funeral Director, then in later years moved on to have a positive impact with the Sick Kids Foundation.
Deb was an advocate and champion for so many people, and consistently put others before herself. Always with a smile for everyone around and with her own indelible sense of humour, she touched all who she met. Deb’s bravery in the face of extreme and chronic medical issues is beyond measure and a testament to her devotion to her children. Cooper and Paige have been pillars of strength for Deb as she was for them.
Special thanks and appreciation to the myriad of healthcare professionals over the years including Dr Brac, The RVH Medicine Treatment Unit and Nursing staff of Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and the highly professional team at Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th at MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill from 12noon until service time in the chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation.
