The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Rosanne Pelchat (nee Thériault) at the Timmins and District Hospital on Sunday, November 10th, 2024 at the age of 90 years. Rosanne was born in Frederick House, Ontario. Beloved mother of Michel Pelchat, Guy Pelchat (Linda) and Caroline Richard (Clayton) all of Timmins and Suzanne Pelchat (Alain) of Gatineau. Loving grandmother of late Marcel Pelchat (Robyn), Jason Langlois, Jamie Pelchat, Steven Langlois, Cassandra Fortin (Chris), Jamie Lee Dunsmore (Matthew), Stephanie Lemaire (Terry), Kayla Pelchat (Tanner) and Calvin. Rosanne was also adored by her many great grandchildren Léa, Liam, Samuel, Blake, Zac, Emma, Hunter, Zalik, Karter, Griffyn, Levi, Amelia, Zoé, CJ, Ariel and Kendra. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Lucienne Thériault, her siblings Julienne, Marguerite, Lucienne, Marie, Thérèse, Germaine, Denise, Léon, Rolland, Ovila and Paul. Rosanne was a long-time resident of Timmins. What she loved most was spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, incredible grandmother and special Mémé. She was an angel on earth, patient, kind and selfless. Rosanne had many hobbies, she enjoyed singing in the ladies’ church choir, loved line dancing, going for walks, attending concerts and winning at Bingo. She also had a passion for shopping with her friends, daughters and granddaughters. She will forever be cherished and loved by her family. As well as missed by her dear friends at St-Mary’s Garden. The family would like to extend their most sincere appreciation to the staff at both Health Science North Hospital ICU in Sudbury and Timmins and District Hospital Hospice for the quality of care that was provided to Rosanne and a big thank you to nurses and Dr. Schwertfeger. As per her wishes, cremation was held and a memorial mass will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. from the St-Joseph Church. Followed by a reception in the Reception Lounge of Miron-Wilson. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the St-Joseph church. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations can be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
