On Monday, March 6, 2023, Mary Catherine “Kay” Heistinger passed peacefully away, surrounded by her family’s love.
Predeceased by her loving husband Fred, and her brother Vince.
She will lovingly be remembered by her sister Rita (and sons); children: Rick (Mary Lou), Karen (Harold), Jeannine and Ramona (Joey); grandchildren: Mitch, Jessica, Angela, Brett, Megan and George; great-grandchildren: Harvey, Patrick and Layla; as well as numerous friends and family members.
Kay was a social butterfly, who was a part of many clubs and organizations. She loved her family with all of her heart. She was a talented musician who would rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.
Special thanks to the staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 1 p.m – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from Caul’s Chapel at 11:30 a.m with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
