Passed peacefully at South Huron Hospital on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Bill Simpson for 69 years. Cherished mother of Dale Polzin (Tom), and Stephen Simpson (Susan). Loving grandma of Lisa (Patrick) and Laura (Michael); Jason (Theresa), Luke (Lauren) and Neil (Lindsey) and great grandma of Liam, and Leo; Charlotte and Alexander; Cassandra and Wyatt; Aidan, Cole, Grayson; and Sadie. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and the extended Simpson and Sillick families. Audrey will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Predeceased by mother Ann Jane (Newman), father Edwin Sillick and sister Lorna (Anthony) Obermeyer.
Audrey’s memorial service was held on Thursday, November 7th. Cremation has taken place. Audrey’s service can be viewed at www.facebook.com/haskettfh. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter (519-235-1220).
Memorial donations to Zion Lutheran Church Dashwood, the Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre or a food bank of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
