BIRTCH, Ronald Alexander
December 30, 1930 – March 2, 2023
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow we announce the passing of Ronald Alexander Birtch in his 93rd year, he died peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on March 2, 2023.
Dearly loved by his wife of almost 64 years Dora (nee Stanley). Loving father of Donna (late Bill) Shore, Steven (Rosanne) Birtch, and Susan (George) Sellner. Proud grandfather of Kathleen (Scott) Young, Victoria Shore (Stephen Mouland), Thomas Birtch, Kevin and Owen Sellner. Much loved great grandfather of Luke and Hazel Young.
Predeceased by his loving parents John and Lulu Birtch, adoring aunt Verlie Moore, and cherished granddaughter Alisha Birtch.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Friday, March 10. Orange lodge service to be held Friday at 7pm. Funeral Saturday March 11 in the Chapel at 1pm. Interment in the spring at All Saints Cemetery, Greely.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Ottawa Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin Street, Ottawa, ON K1Y 4W7 or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Condolences may be left at www.daleyffh.ca
