1931 – 2024
We are sad to announce the passing of Clarence Fenton in his 94th year. Clarence was born in Glenrosa, BC to James and Mary Fenton in 1931. Clarence spent his entire life living in the Glenrosa / Westbank area.
Clarence was an avid outdoorsman his entire life, whether it was hunting, fishing, trapping or spending time at the cabin.
Clarence was the first employee hired by John and Ross Gorman to work in their mill. He worked there for 38 years before retiring in 1994.
Clarence was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Marjorie, in 2022. Also predeceased by his siblings, Eva, Grace, Jim, Irene, Betty, George and Margaret.
Clarence is survived by his five children, Bart (Maggie), James (Carla), Robert (Trina), DellaMae, and Scott (Terri). His grandchildren Tyler, Toni (Thomas), Jason (Sarah), Mikayla, Cameron (Jocelyn), Blair (Katie), Chad (Molly), Nicole ( Geordie), Mellissa (Travis) and Matthew. His Great Grandchildren Rylea, Nyla, Oakren, Tucker, Jessie and Beau along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to his son Scott and wife Terri for always being there. Thanks to Laurinda for all her help. Also thanks to the staff of Brookhaven and to Tasha for going above and beyond.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
