Fisher; Richard Harold William
With great sadness the family of Richard “Dick” Fisher announces his passing on November 2, 2024 at the age of 81. He passed peacefully at Providence Care Hospital. Dick was the loving husband of Donna (Kelly) for 60 years. Devoted Father of Christine Connelly (Brent), Shannon (Kim) and Shawn. Proud Grandfather of Hillary, Spencer (Victoria), Brianna (Travis), Lauren, Taylor (Tim) and Madison (Matt). Great Grandfather to James, Riley, Harper, Karson and Kolton. He will be sadly missed by his Brother Jamie (Leslie) and all the Kelly family.
Dick was the former owner of Fisher Auto Parts and was known as a local icon within the Kingston Automotive Industry. With his 50 years of experience, Dick was known for his generosity, knowledge and willingness to help anyone who needed it. These qualities led him to be Jobber of the year in 2004.
The only thing that trumped his love for business was his devotion to family, friends and Friday morning golf games.
The family wishes to thank all who took the time over the last 6 weeks to visit with Dick. As well as the staff at KGH on Davies 4, and Kidd 7. With a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Providence Care Hospital on Parkside 1 for their excellent care and devotion they provided to Dick.
As per Dick’s wishes, there will be no visitation, cremation has taken place, arrangements in the care of Wartman Funeral Home – Kingston. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you consider donating in the memory of Dick to The Providence Care Charity, The University Hospital Kingston Foundation.
