We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our beautiful daughter Christiana Anne Hewitt, age 33 on Sunday, October 27, 2024
Predeceased by her grandfather, John Cave, grandparents, Michael and Mary Hewitt, uncles, Kevin Cave and Kenneth Hewitt, aunts, Shirley Hewitt and Barbara Vokey, cousins, Dana Seydell and Rylan Cave.
Left to mourn are her loving and devoted parents, Gloria and Noel Hewitt. Her darling grandmother, whom she adored, Violet Cave Sr. As well as a large circle of loved ones on both sides of the Cave and Hewitt families. Her long-life friends Eleanor Doran and Lisa O’Rourke, and especially all her fur babies that she loved and cared for.
A Special Thank You to her special friend and community health nurse Alicia Penney. Her good friends Glenda Huston, Nicole Reid, and Brianna, and her respite worker Heather Neville. A big Thank You to Corina Hunt. Another special thank to Dr. Lenoard Phair of St Clare’s and Dr. Tom McGarry of Trepassey, for the care and support they have given Christiana over the years. Also thank you to Dr. Iqbal of St Clare’s.
Christiana was a volunteer in her community of Trepassey and a Lion’s member for many years. She loved helping out with the seniors, as well as baking and making pizza. Her love for her animals was well known, caring for lost cats and dogs was her passion.
Flowers greatly accepted or donation to be made in Christiana’s memory to the SPCA.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fahey’s Funeral Homes, Trepassey. Visitation for family Thursday, October 31st, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and opened to the public at 12:00 pm to 9:00pm. Visitation, again on Friday, November 1st from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial on November 1st, at Holy Redeemer Church, Trepassey at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Trepassey.
