With heavy hearts and treasured memories, we announce the passing of Cherie Lynn Mercier, a shining light who left us far too soon on October 26, 2024. Born on September 1, 1985, Cherie brought warmth, humor, and kindness into every room and left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her.
Cherie is predeceased by her father, Chester Mercier and survived by her mother, protector and best friend Lynn Mercier (Harvey); her brother Cameron, sister Laura (Kevin) and niece Raeleigh. Cherie was a loving wife to Dylan Warren. They spent endless hours together sharing their love of food and movies. Cherie was adored by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and especially cherished the close bond she had with her Auntie Carolyn.
Cherie was a source of strength, resilience, and joy for all who knew her. Despite facing many health challenges throughout her life, Cherie showed unwavering courage and grace, living each day with a tenacity and zest that inspired everyone around her.
Cherie was known for her infectious laughter, boundless compassion, and her ability to make everyone feel seen and valued.
In honor of Cherie’s vibrant spirit, a celebration of life will be held in her memory on Sunday November 3rd 2024 from 2pm-6pm at the Hilton Garden Inn 475 Barrydowne Rd., Sudbury. We invite all who loved her to join us in remembering her laughter, her kindness, and the countless ways she touched our lives. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Sudbury Developmental Services, as we carry forward her legacy of generosity and love.
Cherie’s legacy of love endures in all of us. She may be gone, but her spirit will forever live on; with her parting words “promise you won’t be sad for too long”.
