GIRARD, Ann (nee Ritchie): Peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Monday, March 6, 2023 in her 78th year. Ann, beloved wife of 57 years to Bob. Loving and devoted mother of Cheryl VanderMeulen (Sean), and Deanna Dack (Perry). Cherished Grandmother of Christopher, Alicia, Benjamin, Heather; Andrew and Corey, and Great Grandmother of Grace, Caleb, Lylah, Linkyn and Colton. Predeceased by her brother Bill Ritchie and by her parents Lorne Ritchie and Eileen Pilling. Remembered lovingly by many nieces and nephews. Dear sister-in-law of Paul Girard (Marg, predeceased), David Girard (Dolores), Ken Girard (Jackie, predeceased), Martha Pernel (Joe), Madeleine Enns, and Leon Girard. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Thursday, March 9th for visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass in the Cathedral of St. Peter-In-Chains on Friday, March 10th at 10:30 am. Fr. Damian Smullen officiating. Interment Highland Park Cemetery followed by a reception in Highland Park Reception Centre.
