Greenlees; William Norman “Bill”
April 24, 1942 – October 25, 2024
Son of the late Morris Greenlees and Helen Moore. Loved husband of Darlene (nee Stewart). Cherished father of Cathy (late Peter MacNeil), Travis (Stephanie), Mark, Jeffery (Nancy), Angie (Brian Fraser).
Bill was also adored by 8 grandchildren who loved him dearly. Survived by brothers Jack, Gary, Teddy and sister Julie and their respective families. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bill was an integral part of the Kingston East Business community for many years with Greenlees Meats and later Pittsburgh Packers. He also served on Pittsburgh Township Council prior to city amalgamation in 1998. Bill was the proud President and Regional Chairman of the Kingston East Lions Club and a Club Member from 1965 – 2024.
Bill loved Sunday drives, Toronto Maple Leafs, watching Women’s Hockey, playing cards and had a true affection and genuine interest of neighbours and friends and the generations past.

The family will be accepting visitors at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and then again on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10:00 – 10:50 am. There will be a funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Reception Centre. For those unable to attend in person, please CLICK HERE to attend via livestream. Inurnment will take place at Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea, at 2:00 pm.
