Donald Peter Goletz
Donald Peter Goletz of Selkirk MB, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at his home at the age of 57.
Donald was predeceased by his parents Don and Linda Goletz of Rackham MB. Survived by brothers Frank (Shirley Huston) of Tofield AB, David of Winnipeg, Eugene (Denise; Sasha & Autumn) of Lac du Bonnet and John of Cranbrook, BC; niece, Britney and nephews, Ivan (Kali Patterson, great nephews, Tyson Patterson and Owen Goletz-Patterson), David, Joey, and Charles. He is also survived by a long list of cousins and friends throughout Manitoba and Canada.
Donald held family and friends near to his heart along with many wonderful pets he cherished over the years. He was a very generous, caring, and compassionate person. He spent years working for Johnson Cabins in Riding Mountain National Park, later working for Maple Leaf Pork then Fairview Personal Care Home in Brandon.
A small family gathering, and service will be held later (TBD) to inter Donald at the St. John Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Rackham.
If friends so desire donations can be made to the Cancer Care Society, Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or Winnipeg Humane Society.
