It is with heavy hearts that the family of Florence Mary Garland announce her passing on March 4, 2023 at the Loch Lomond Villa in Saint John. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Lora (Roy) LeBlanc. Florence will be dearly missed by her loving husband Ronald Garland; her sons: Brian Garland (Sue), Terry Garland (Doris), and Gerrard Garland; her daughters: Linda Hachey (Levi), Debra Richard (Steven Alchorn), and Brenda Marshall (Brent); her brother Gerald LeBlanc (Rachel); her sisters: Lorraine Dupuis, Rita Richard (Leonard), Alma Legere (Victor), Claudette Downing (Gerald); fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and good friends. Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her son Wayne “Beaver” Garland; her brother Ivan LeBlanc; her sisters: Louise Stacey, Cecile LeBlanc, and Mary LeBlanc. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424) from where visitation will be held on Thursday March 9, 2023 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday March 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
