Udo Mehner
1946-2024
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Udo
Mehner, 78, of Salisbury on October 16th, 2024.
Born in Germany he was a son to the late Wilhelm & Ruth
Mehner.
Udo is survived and sadly missed by his daughter, Andrea
(Beth) Mehner; his son, Christopher Mehner; his sisters, Elke Brown
and Gabby Becker and his three nephews; Paul, Mark, and
Carl.
Udo was predeceased by his wife of 56 years earlier this
year, Carole.
They enjoyed a surprisingly adventurous life together chasing
waterfalls in this country and beyond. A nerd at heart, Udo loved
tinkering, manuals, mechanics, collecting Subarus, the Habs, and his
harmonica.
Always grumbly but soft of heart, intelligent, witty, and
incredibly kind, Udo would do anything for a friend, or a family
member, should they need support.
A special thank you to Darren and Tammy Horseman of Salisbury
for keeping a watchful eye on Udo (especially since the death of
Carole). You are appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home, 506-372-4800. Arrangements at this time are
being held privately.
