Obituary of Robert Franklin Broad
Our gentle giant passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, at the age of 85.
Survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Susan Broad, children Robert Michael Broad (Christine) and Lisa Nimer (Bernie). Will be sadly missed by his two beloved grandchildren and grandpups.
Predeceased by parents Robert Leslie Broad and Mildred Irene Broad.
He was the epitome of a gentleman, kind, funny, open-minded and accepting of all. Bob retired from a career in accounting. He was a keen tennis and golf player. He served many years as President of the Sarnia and Kitchener Waterloo chapters of the Canadian Cancer Society. The world is less of a good place without him in it.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
