HEGADOREN, Barbara Jean “Grace” (nee Daniher) – Grace passed away peacefully at Peterborough Retirement Residence on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Carnduff “Carnie” Hegadoren. Loving mother of Jerry (Vivian), Dale (Kathy) and Sandra Stetson (the late Paul). Proud grandmother of April (Peter), David (Sasha), Robin (Phil), Neil (Amber), Lee (Amy) and Nicole (the late Kestrel). Adoring great-grandmother of Cali, Jack, Rae, Jay and Ellie. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Rose (nee Slote) Daniher and 8 siblings. Grace will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family and everyone who knew her. In keeping with Grace’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will be held at Little Lake Cemetery. There will be a celebration of Grace’s life at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. In memory of Grace, donations to the Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by her family and can be made; along with expressions of condolence at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
